LA Audio Show Day Two, Part 3

Here are my pictures to wrap up Day 2 and to wrap up my show browsing. Becky and I headed home on Sunday morning, but trust me, the show is not over for us. Becky has 3 articles to write this next week, and we will be publishing her article on the Headgear Extreme area of the show later. I will also be publishing multiple show reports this week, and I connected with several dealers at the show for equipment to review over the next few weeks. We will also be awarding our first Beatnik Bongo awards later this week for the “Best of” in several categories.

The MBL room is always one of the best attended and best sounding. This year was no exception, though I have heard it sound better at a couple of other shows.

The Naim room with the Focal room sounded good. Naim continues to improve on its classic, rhythmic sound

Evolution Acoustic was showing a new speaker that I had not seen before, but it sounded wonderful. They were being driven by darTZeel electronics. The source was the Wave Kinetics NVS Turntable

The Hegel electronics played the KEF Blade II, and the sound was very nice.

Voss Audio was sounding excellent. I’ll provide more information about their equipment soon.

The Einstein room was a real revelation. Truly great sound worthy of the “legendary” status.

On a Higher Note was showing the top-of-the-line Vivid speakers, which sounded great.

The Positive Feedback Hospitality room was playing DSD files over the wonderful little Gamut speakers.

Also in The Positive Feedback room is a Beatnik Bongos award I can go ahead and give – Best Coffee at the Show.
