I’ve been listening over the weekend and let me tell you this is one sweet sounding cartridge with incredible tonal colors! By the way it comes in a really funky rocket instead of a fancy box.

Jack, I’m really looking forward to your impressions of the Teatro. I’d like to own one other cartridge for the AMG. I have the Etna currently and have been thinking about an EMT J6. The Teatro or Benz would also be a strong consideration. I just would like a different flavor from time to time. Why? I don’t know.
BTW, I also recently purchased a Shunyata Alpha Analog for the AMG and I am really happy with the results. Very quiet… I was using the Teresonic PC prior to that with good results, but the big Shunyata took it to a higher level.
Bill, good to hear from you the Teatro’s tonal balance is much more like the EMT TSD-15N than the J6. The more I listen to the more impressed I am with it. I want to hear it with a tube and transistor phono stage before I write the review and I need to listen to it a lot longer, but so far I can say it’s very good.
