The two little red and black units on either side of the AMG turntable are the front and back of the two newest digital to analog converters from Digital Amplification Company (DAC), the same company that brings you the Cherry line of amplifiers. The DAC DAC comes in two versions, the TL or tube-like, and the HS or High Spec version. Both versions support the upstream MQA decode. I really look forward to reviewing and comparing both of these DACs. I recently got to know Tommy O’Brien of Digital Audio, and I’m looking forward to hearing the DAC DAC.
