Try pronouncing the name of this brand, Tsakiridis Devices. Yep, I don’t know how to pronounce it either. I do get the “Devices” part right, but that’s about it. They teamed up with Soulines and Triangle at the Florida Audio Expo.
However, like most of you, I have read a number of FAE show reports, and I can only recall a few that had comments about this room. From what I saw and heard, they deserved a lot more coverage.
Let Me Backtrack a Little
So, I walked into this room not knowing what to expect, and I was greeted with an exhibit of some very nicely manufactured tube gear; tube integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, and monoblock amps. All of them had a very nice fit and finish as you can see in the pictures below.
Now I am curious since I haven’t heard of this product line before. This doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, it allows me to play my “guess the price” game. So I proceeded to estimate the prices on a few of the components based on the construction quality and the general feel of the units. Let me just say that I grossly overestimated the retail pricing on most of the display pieces.
This entire line is manufactured in Greece with preamps starting at $1,495.00 and integrated amps staring at $2,195.00. They also offer single-ended Triode Class A monoblocks starting at $2,295.00 for the pair.
Playing My Song
Just about any song they played could have been my song with the sound that I heard coming out of a pair of Triangle Signature Delta Tower speakers from France that were priced at $8,000.00/pair. I have heard these speakers before, and they never fail to impress. Beautifully finished and excellent sounding, they offer a tremendous value.
Also on display were some very good looking turntables, both in terms of aesthetics and manufacturing skill. So what had I stumbled across? These were the Soulines brand of turntables, the Kubrick DCX Turntable that sells for $4,600.00 w/o arm, and sitting next to it was the Elgar DCX at the w/o arm price of $3,600.00. Both tables are beautifully designed and manufactured in a silver aluminum finish.
They both feature a 3-point decoupled sub-plinth and include three different user-exchangeable aluminum arm boards, one each for an SME arm, a Rega arm, and a Jelco arm.
Find Out More
All of these brands are distributed in the USA by Antal Audio Group, and I have to say that the sound of these products together was seriously good, which makes me wonder why this system was so underreported. The soundstage was beautiful with a very sweet top end. All of the cables were from Nordost. These are some brands in this system that I plan to investigate further. I think they need to be on your radar, too!

Corona virus?
Yes, or Covid19 or whatever you call it where you live. Currently in California we are on mandatory lockdown to control the virus. So, there’s lots of extra time for reading audio posts.
Crazy looking system! I wonder how popular they will be in the actual market. It is fun to see new products at shows.
That’s one of the fun things about going to shows. You do see some things that are a bit different. Thanks for your comment!
