RMAF 2018 Pictures Day 1, Part 1

The PS Audio room featured Arnie Nudell’s final speaker prototype driven by the PS Audio’s Baskim King amplification and their digital products. The sound was pure heaven.

At one of the tables by the bar, I found a new Dynaco ST-70 amplifier. It was a remake of the classic. This is one of the most famous tube amplifiers in audio history.

I had no idea that Falcon makes floor-standing speakers. They sounded great, and as you can see, they are also attractive.

I liked this poster in the Falcon room that tells the history of the LS3/5 and LS3/5a. This is a UK brand that has quite a story  to tell.

The current production of the Falcon LS/35a sounded incredible. they haven’t forgotten their roots.

The German Physik loudspeakers were sounding impressive, and guess what, I have a pair coming in for review!

ESD Acoustics had a serious pair of horn speakers, and all of the electronics were theirs as well

Maybe the best sound I heard today was from Verity Audio’s new top of the line complete system. I’ll provide details in the show report.

JBL’s new classic L100s sounded much better here then they did at AXPONA. I don’t know if it was the room or the combination of components. They were pure fun!

Constellation has used their electronics with five different brands of speakers at the last five RMAFs. Each year it has sounded fantastic. This year the speakers were Rockports.

As usual, ZU Audio’s room is so much fun. It’s such a young crowd and they play such a variety of music.

It was no surprise that the Nagra room was sounding really good with all of their gear matched with Rockport speakers.
