RMAF 2018 Pictures Day 2, Part 1

In The Audio Company room, Von Schweikert Audio showed their new Ultra Nine Loudspeakers and their V12XS Shockwave subwoofer.  VAC/Valve Amplifiction Company displayed their new  Statement 450i iQ Integrated Amplifier. Esoteric, Critical Mass, Kronos, Airtight and Masterbuilt also contributed pieces of this system.

DeVore Fidelity was debuting their biggest Orangutans yet. The Orangutan Statement Loudspeakers have a four-cabinet system featuring Alnico magnets in the drivers.

Leema Acoustics featured the first system I have heard that was handmade in Whales. The system looked and sounded nice.

The GamuT speakers and electronics in their room with a Pear Audio turntable sounded very good. The Larson speakers were not being played when I was in the room.

Neat Acoustics

In the Parasound Products, Inc. room, both the Parasound and the Tekton speakers sounded very impressive together with a Clearaudio turntable and cartridge as the source.

In one of the two High Fidelity Services rooms. In this one, they were playing the Neat Acoustic Iota Xplorer Loudspeakers driven by a Trilogy Integrated Amplifier. I reviewed the Xplorer’s little brother, the Alpha, and should have these in soon for review.

This all McIntosh system in their room sounded very nice, but personally I experienced a blue meter overload.

In the Wynn Audio room, the little speakers from Kiso Acoustic are simply amazing. They were driven by a Karan Acoustic amplification, and the big wooden box on the bottom of the rack is the Entreq line conditioner. The source was a Thales turntable.

Wynn’s second room had the same electronics driving a pair of beautiful  Penaudio Legato Signature speakers and a Kalista DreamPlay One as the source.

At AXPONA, the Auris Audio ladies from Russia had a booth and displayed of all their beautiful speakers and amplification. Here they had the complete Auris system playing beautiful music.
