Cardas Audio, Doshi Audio, Joseph Audio, and J.Sikora had a world-class lineup of gear in their showroom at RMAF. Something tells me that it was party time in their room most of the weekend. I interviewed Angela Cardas Meredith a few weeks ago, and I read her Facebook posts this weekend about crazy socks and other things in Denver. So, I know she’s one lady that was having a good time.
In the Room
Simply beautiful, the Joseph Audio 20/20 Pearl Graphene Loudspeakers ($37,995/pair) were center stage in the all-star lineup of audio stars. This speaker is the latest in their Pearl lineup.
In keeping with today’s trend, there was also digital in the room, the Berkeley Audio Design Alpha USB ($1,995) and the Berkeley Audio Design Alpha DAC Reference Series 3 ($22,000) were streaming Qobuz.
And this world-class lineup had an impressive analog front end that included a J.Sikora Reference Turntable ($39,995), J.Sikora KV12 VTA Tonearm ($6,995), Ortofon Anna D Cartridge ($10,495), a Kuzma 4Point Tonearm ($7,900) and a Koetsu Onyx Cartridge ($9,995). It was the USA debut for the KV12 tonearm.
Two other J.Sikora turntables were on display in the room.
Electronics, that’s where Doshi Audi came in with their tube electronics starting with the Doshi Audio V3 Mono Bloc Amplifiers ($36,995 pair), the Doshi Audio V3 Phono Stage ($17,995) and the Doshi Audio V3 Line Stage ($17,995).
