Rick Shultz’s High Fidelity Cables room had a wonderful system featuring HFC’s Bafflex 12 Speakers. Source and amplification were from Esoteric and were highly modified with his magnetic technology. There was also about a half million dollars in HFC magnetic cables and power conditioning in this incredible room.
The Cambridge Audio room featured the Edge NQ preamplifier with network player and the Edge W power amplifier. They were using the B&W 805 D3 speakers.
Steve Norber, the founder and head designer of PranaFidelity was the host in their room. The electronics and the speakers were from PranaFidelity and the turntable was the new Merrill-Williams R.E.A.L. 101.3 turntable.
The High End by Oz room featured entry level speakers from MBL with electronics from Vitus Audio and cabling from Ansuz Acoustics. This company also had some neat devices to help tune the sound in the room.
Another one of the four Scott Walker Audio rooms featured the new B&W 704 S2 speakers with their DB3 subwoofer. The speakers were powered by the McIntosh 6700 Receiver. The sources were the McIntosh MT5 turntable and the McIntosh MCD 550 SACD/CD Player. All of the cables, power conditioning and room treatment were from Synergistic Research.
The Tweak Studio West room featured the beautiful Reed turntable and tonearm, Burmeister Electronics and YG Acoustics speakers.
The Esoteric Audio room was using their N-03T network audio transport, Grandioso K1 SACD player/DAC, G-01X Rubidium master clock, Grandioso C1 line stage, Grandioso S1 amplifier and the Canton Reference 3K loudspeakers.
The last of the Scott Walker Audio rooms that I went into was using a pair of Martin Logan speakers driven by Constellation Audio Inspiration series amp and preamp. The source was an Aurender A10 music server, and like all of Scott’s rooms, the cables, power conditioning and room treatments were from Synergistic Research.
The Gryphon Audio room featured electronics and speakers from Gryphon. The turntable and tonearm were from Helius. The massive cables and power conditioners were from Shunyata Research.
This Scott Walker Audio room featured the Elac Adante AF-61 speakers driven by McIntosh tube electronics. The sources were an Acoustic Signature WOW XL and a Beatis Music Server with a Berkley Alpha DAC Reference Series 2 MQA. All the cabling, power conditioning, and room treatments were by Synergistic Research.
