RMAF 2018 Day 3 Pictures, Part 2

The Believe High Fidelity/JMW Acoustic room was one of the best at the show. The JMW Alyson AML Signature drive by the Genus pure class A, SET, 25-watt integrated amp and the source Kassandra Reference DAC MK II and the vinyl source was the Kinea turntable with a Reference tonearm mounted with a Bordeaux MC cartridge.

In the Martin Logan room, they had their Neolith loudspeakers powered by a Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems Progression preamp (with DAC) and the Progression mono amplifiers. The source was an Aurender N10 music server. Power treatment was by the new and smaller Stromtank S 2500, and cabling was by Transparent.

The Rethm Margo speakers in the Old Forge Audio room were driven by a Pure Audio One integrated amp, and the source was The Wand turntable and tonearm with an EMT cartridge. The sound was simply divine.

The Gryphon room featured their speakers and electronics, and the sound was big, bold, and powerful.

The Under $500 room featured a U-Turn turntable and Mackie powered speakers.

The Under $1,000 room featured the Vanatoo Transparent One Encore powered and streaming speakers with an RSL subwoofer. The room sounded very musical.

The Under $2,500 room featured ELAC speakers and turntable with Chord electronics. This system stretched my awareness of what great sound can be had for this price.

The Under $5,000 room featured the Salk Song speakers with electronics and digital from Peachtree Audio and a VPI turntable, Gingko accessories and Danacable cables. The room was put together by Gingko.
