RMAF 2018 Pictures Day 3, Part 1

In the Well Pleased AV room, they were debuting the QLN Prestige Three speakers driven by LinnenberG amp and preamp, which debuted in North America at this show. The source was the Innuos Statement Music Server and the Aqua Formula xHD DAC.

In the Salk Speaker and Schiit Audio room, the sound was wonderful. As always, the Salk Speakers were exquisite! And, you can tell from the picture that the cabinets were also beautiful.

Tone Imports and Pitch Perfect Audio were debuting the German Meyer Tonapparate Yanna speakers and the Riviera Emotional Audio electronics from Italy in the United States. The source was a Verdier La Platine turntable with an EMT 997 12-inch tonearm mounted with a Sumile Stereo MC cartridge.

In the Joseph Audio room, their Perspective speakers were sounding wonderful being driven by the beautiful Doshi Audio tube electronics. The source was from Aurender with cabling from Cardas Audio, and the rack and amp stands were from HRS.

The Arion Audio room featured a pair of Chang Lightspeed speakers driven by EMM Labs electronics and playing an EMM Labs digital source. The analog source was from VPI and Soundsmith.

The Aaudio Imports room featured the Wilson Benesch Resolution speakers being driven by the brand new Ypsilon Hyperion Mono Amps and their PST 100 MKII Valve Preamp. The source was their brand new DAC 1000.

In the Cambridge Audio room, they were using a pair of B&W 803D speakers to show off their Edge electronics.

Here is a picture of the MBL room. It was so busy that I never got a real listen, but what I heard had the MBL magic.

The Bob Carver room was using a pair of Speaker Lab SL Super Seven speakers, and when I was listening, they were using their new 75-watt stereo tube amp. The sound was very good.
