Florida AUDIO EXPO: First Day Attention Getters

Volti Audio, Triode Wire Labs and BorderPatrol

Volti Audio introduced its new 2020 Rival Special Edition ($19,900), which is a fully optioned version of their well-regarded Rival speakers. With curved sides, bubinga veneer, matching external crossovers, Triode Wire Labs internal wiring and other special features that celebrate Volti’s 10th year in business. They sound incredible and are worthy of a future review!

Nothing else looks like the gorgeous Zesto Audio components, and George and Carolyn Counnas are such gracious hosts at audio shows, always happy to tell us about their room. At this show, the eye-catching white Vimberg Mino speakers ($31,000/pair) were the first things we noticed. Paired with these speakers were:

Maybe the best system we’ve ever heard for under $5,000. We aren’t kidding! This room put together with Cardas Audio cables, a Mobile Fidelity integrated amp and turntable and Wharfedale speakers blew us away.

Vaughn and Linear Tube Audio

The Vaughn Loudspeakers and Linear Tube Audio room also featured MJ Acoustics, Anti Cables, Wavelength and Aurender. Components and prices here were:
