The Five Most Outlandish Looking Turntables I Have Photographed At Shows

These are turntables I have seen and photographed at shows. Some may look beautiful to some, but to me these are just a little over the top in they way they visual appear. They may sound great, I know a couple of them do, but for my taste I would only own one of them if it happened to sound better than any table I have heard. Let’s start with a couple of turntables that sound really exceptional but just have more bling than I care for. They are from Triangle Art.

The next table on the list comes from Galibier Design. I have never heard this table in a system that I am at all familiar with. This little fun column isn’t about how they sound, but how they look to me, and this table is just too chunky and muscular looking for my taste.

Then there is the turntable from Merrill Williams. This is a table I have heard several times with equipment I was familiar with. Each time I thought it sounded wonderful. I think if they would design a wood or black skirt to cover the feet and all that empty space under the table I wouldn’t find it so outlandish looking. They don’t offer this potion and I just don’t care for it’s looks.

From Onedof LLC come a turntable that I just don’t understand it’s looks. It has too much bling, it’s two chunky and its color combination is not to my taste.

And the winner is…… This turntable called “The Anna Log” from Nottingham. No need for words, I think the picture says it all.
