Hey, we’re back with another newsletter!
It’s been an unusual summer for us, and as a result, we haven’t published a newsletter since just before AXPONA. Scott Hull publishes The Occasional Newsletter, and for a while I thought we might need to rename ours The Every Once in a While Newsletter. Hopefully, however, we are getting back on track with this issue.
A few of you know that in the last couple of months, Becky had cataract surgery and surgery to repair a torn ligament in her hip. Both were successful but took a little longer to recover from than expected. Meanwhile, I’ve also had some unexpected medical issues that have slowed me down, but I’m back to writing again and listening. There’s nothing wrong with my ears, which is a good thing given my love for music!
We were surprised that although we didn’t post as much new content over the summer, our page views and social media activity continued to climb at a steady pace. Thank you for being faithful! We appreciate it. And, welcome to those of you who are new readers. We’re hoping to meet many of you in person at the shows.
Thanks for your support,
Jack, The Audio Beatnik (jack@theaudiobeatnik.com)

What’s on our “Must See” List at RMAF
It’s just a couple of days now until the 2018 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest opens, and there are over three dozen companies debuting new products at this show. You can find the latest information in this list on the RMAF website. We have learned of a few more from press releases we received and phone conversations.
There’s just not enough time to get a good look at every new product, but here’s our short list for RMAF. To see who made the list and why they are a “must see”, read more here...
